NACCTFO/NACo CONFERENCE: ATLANTIS HOTEL:
To make your reservations, call 800-723-6500; group code “SNACCTF” or click here. Room block is from July 14 - 20, $138/night in the Tower and $158/night in the Luxury Tower. Group rate available up to 3 days before and 2 days after these dates based on availability. Deadline for the group rate is June 14th. Reservations made after this date are subject to availability and the group rate cannot be guaranteed. 

NACo Annual Conference  Online registration is now available.  The Atlantis is an official NACo hotel, so if you are staying for NACo, there is no need to make a separate reservation; just give the Atlantis your arrival & departure dates - one reservation will cover both conferences.  The Atlantis is connected via skywalk to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center where all NACo sessions will be held.

Friday, 
July 16th

Creating & Maintaining a Positive Work Environment
- This session will discuss management practices for enhancing employee and organizational desired outcomes, such as employee motivation and job satisfaction and for reducing negative behaviors such as absenteeism.
11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Lunch on your own
1:00 pm - 3:30 pm: 
Fraud Detection/Prevention - Tough economic times increase the risks of possibility of theft and/or scams from both inside and outside.  A panel of experts will discuss the things that you should be doing to detect or prevent fraudulent attempts against your office.
4:30 pm:
Buses depart hotel (Please note: Travel time is appx 1 hour).
5:45 pm - 9:30 pm:
Dinner at Lake Tahoe; bring your camera and a jacket. Sponsored by ORACLE.
10:30 pm: Buses arrive at hotel.


Saturday, 
July 17th
9:00 am - 11:30 am: Strategic Planning - Over the past twenty-five years, an increasing number of private and public organization use strategic planning to help them adapt to changing circumstances while remaining faithful to their ultimate mission.   This workshop will outline the elements of a strategic plan and discuss methods for preparing them.
11:30 am - 1:30 pm:
Business Meeting and Luncheon, Sponsored by Fast Enterprises
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm:
Peer to Peer Round Table Discussion - Through peer-to-peer interaction, this workshop will address issues submitted by NACCTFO members.  Through productive and focused discussions on specific topics, members will trade ideas and best practices.
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: President's Reception. Sponsored by Tennessee County Trustees' Association
7:00 pm - 9:30 pm: Installation/Awards Banquet. Sponsored by Manatron.
